About Alex Kery
I have worked in the media industry for over 20 years with roles spanning from Production Assistant through to Associate Creative Director. It was as a Creative that I hit my stride, enjoying both the ideation process as well as their execution.
This year, to further my own education and expand my creativity, I completed AWARD School. This was a rewarding challenge and with my previous media experience, I feel that I will be a valuable asset to any business that needs a creative thinker with the skills to get it done.
Most of my free-time is involved with my family and in particular, helping out with my children’s school or extra-curricular activities, like Piano, Sport and Dance. Travelling with my family is also very important as it allows us to spend more quality time with each other. We particularly like short local getaways to explore new areas and experiences.
My family has also inspired my creativity when I published a short children’s story – Sultana Dreams based on the bedtime stories I told my kids.
I would also classify myself more as an Eater than a Foodie as I enjoy trying new places and foods and keep myself open to trying new things in general. Part of my food passion is my Burger Instagram account with about 2000 followers - Burguru
Prior to family, I participated in Theatresports (improvisation games), where our team won the coveted Scared Scriptless competition to make it into the prestigious Cranston Cup tournament at Belvoir St Theatre.
